Hi, my name is Cat! I'm the studio's founder. I have always known since I was young that this would be my profession! I grew up doodling all over my arms and legs in class when I was bored, since I would always get my drawings and sketchbooks confiscated for drawing in class. I soon became the school's mini tattoo artist, giving everyone tattoos with sharpies and pens. After being scolded by my mom's friend who had been watching me after school for drawing on myself, she told my mom to watch out because I would become addicted to tattoos and end up becoming a tattoo artist. Well, actually, I thought this was a GREAT idea. I believe my path as always been set to become a tattooer as well as an educator. I come from a family of teachers and school district workers, though I am the only artist. I can be pretty chatty at times. My weaknesses include that I am not a good communicator online (LOL). I rely heavily on in-person communication. I'm a deeply personal artist. I don't draw designs without meeting my client in-person and having a conversation about the tattoos I'm going to do. I am a multi-specialty style artist. I accept almost any request and any style. The best thing about being a jack-of-all-trades with my art styles is the ease of mentoring my students in different styles.

Hi there! My name is Lucky and I am a queer, nonbinary, self-taught tattoo artisy. Funny enough, I never planned on being a tattoo artist. It happened to fall upon my lap one day in 2021 and I never stopped since. When I was attending art college, I fell in love with treating my body as a canvas and decorating it with beautiful artwork as tattoos. One of my tattoo artists requested I aid them in making risograph prints (I was studying to be a graphic designer and had access to many printers for cheap!) and in return they taught me the basics of tattooing. I studied constantly and worked up the courage to start on real skin in 2022. A little more about me: I have a huge background in working in the psychology field. As my day job, I work as a caregiver for adults with developmental disabilities. Before this, my specialty was in the youth with different mental health diagnoses. With that, I think it goes to show how I love to revolve my life in all things therapeutic. Tattooing and therapy go hand in hand for me! I am grateful to be working at The Cat Scratch Tattoo with such lovely, talented artists. I am even more proud to be able to turn this passionate hobby of mine into a full time career!

After drawing on myself and friends all throughout middle school, I immediately bought a tattoo machine in highschool and explored on fake skin.
